The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 results for 2026. Students can now check their scorecards online via the official portal.

This year, the overall pass percentage reached 92.10%, reflecting a consistent improvement in academic outcomes across the state. Out of 1,12,266 registered candidates, 1,08,983 appeared, and 1,00,373 successfully passed the examination.

Pass Percentage Improves, Girls Lead Performance

The 2026 results show a steady rise in performance, with a 1.33% increase compared to the previous year. A notable highlight remains the strong performance of female candidates.

• Girls Pass Percentage: 96.07%
• Boys Pass Percentage: 88.03%

The gap highlights a continued trend where girls outperform boys in board examinations.

Toppers List and Merit Highlights

The merit list for 2026 reflects intense competition among top-performing students.

• Akshat Gopal secured Rank 1 with 98.20%
• Ishant Kothari and Bhumika shared Rank 2
• Yogesh Joshi achieved Rank 3 with 97.80% (489/500 marks)

A total of 207 students made it to the state merit list (Top 25%), showcasing high academic excellence. Additionally, 7,935 students (7.28%) scored above 75%, earning honours distinction.

Division-wise and District Performance Insights

The results highlight both academic distribution and regional performance trends:

• First Division: 30,734 students (28.20%)
• Second Division: 46,708 students (42.86%)
• Third Division: 14,986 students (13.75%)

Institutional candidates recorded a significantly higher pass rate (92.47%) compared to private candidates (65.05%), underlining the role of structured schooling.

At the district level, Bageshwar emerged as the top-performing region with a pass percentage of 96.98%, leading the state rankings this year.
